What is Almanack90?

Almanack90 is a free trade almanack of the working web. It keeps a plain record of callings — businesses, services, and organisations that operate online — filed across twenty-two sections. Each entry consists of a domain, a brief trade description drawn from the page itself, and the date of first filing. The almanack does not rank, rate, or promote; it records.

Is it free to file a calling?

Yes, always. There are no paid placements, no sponsored entries, and no fee for filing or updating a listing. The almanack is kept free because a free record is a more honest record.

How are callings organised in the almanack?

The almanack is divided into twenty-two named sections — Motor Trade & Coachwork Suppliers, Gaming Houses & Sporting Wagers, Physicians, Surgeries & Health Callings, and so on. Each calling is filed in the one section that best matches its principal trade. If a calling crosses sections, the keeper files it under the trade most evident on the page.

How do I file a calling?

Go to the File a Calling page, paste the full URL, select the section that matches the trade, and submit. If you leave the description blank, the keeper fetches a plain trade description from the page itself. The entry appears in the almanack as soon as the form returns.

Does the almanack review submissions?

The keeper reads each submitted page before filing it. If the page plainly trades in the section selected, it is filed. Parked pages, dead redirects, affiliate microsites with no declared trade, and pages that exist only to harvest contact details are not entered. The almanack does not assess quality, licensing, or conduct beyond this basic check.

How long does it take for a filing to appear?

Entries appear immediately — there is no review queue or waiting period. The keeper reads the page in the background after the form returns, and the description may be updated shortly after if a better trade description is found on the page. The entry itself is on file from the moment of submission.

Does Almanack90 cover only English-language sites?

No. The almanack files callings in any language, from any country, provided the trade is stated on the page. The directory interface is in English, but the callings it records are international — motor traders in Turkey, dental surgeries in Romania, gaming houses in Asia, and legal chambers in West Africa all appear alongside English-language entries.

Can I update or remove my entry?

The almanack keeps entries as originally filed. If your trade description has changed materially, you may file a correction via the File a Calling page and note the existing entry in the description field. Entries are not removed on request without demonstrated cause such as a page that no longer exists or a domain that has changed hands entirely.

What kinds of callings are not filed?

The almanack does not file parked landing pages, registrar splash pages, affiliate microsites that exist only to redirect, aggregators that mirror other directories without adding their own trade, or pages whose sole purpose is collecting contact details. Callings must have an evident trade stated on the page.
